I’m reading the book Joyful right now, which profiles research-proven design principles that universally bring us joy. This polka dot top – which I would’ve instantly described as “fun” – could inspire that sensation in me for three reasons: polka dots are circular in shape, they represent abundance, and the color of this top is like a happy sunset. Basically this top = joy and I couldn’t agree more. Even better is finding two ways to wear it right out of the gate – with black pants for a fancy schmancy occasion, or with sneakers for casual occasions. In either case, I am certain to feel joy from what I’m wearing that day!
