Taking photos surrounded by the sweet smell of lavender? Truly heaven. This was a fun, unexpected stop on our family trip to Michigan – we had no idea there were lavender fields nearby, or that they would be in bloom. But it was a great afternoon, and arguably there’s no better backdrop for a new dress and straw hat. (Note: this dress runs big so size down if you can. You can also tie the back to adjust the size.) I can almost smell those sweet flowers just looking at these photos!
